Chairman' Message

Fateh Public School was the vision of Late Shri Fateh Singh Rathore the legendary “Tiger Man” of India. He donated approx 3 acres of prime land on Ranthambhore Road towards the school. He was of the strong belief that with the burgeoning human population around Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve there was going to be no way in the near future that the Tigers and people could live in harmony. For this conflict to be resolved in the long run it was imperative that local people become less depended on the park and its natural resources. To do this he believed a good wholesome education, the kind that took into account the environment, was important for the new generation to realize the true value of their natural heritage while at the same time providing them the means to find alternate livelihoods that would allow them to be less depended on the park and its limited natural resources.

To help fulfill this we have raised funds from all over the world to establish the school that bears his name. Today the school offers a world class education to the local children many of whom come from the local villages on a scholarship. In an effort to increase girl literacy free seats are offered each year to girls from villages around the Ranthambhore National Park. Modern class rooms (some with smart boards), well equipped library, net connected computer labs, Science Laboratories, music and sport help make the school unlike any in Sawai Madhopur. A hostel for boys has been added to the school to help children from further afar to avail the  opportunity that Fateh Public School is offering. Having the motto : Second to None and the image of the Tiger on its Logo.

I am sure the children from this school will be inspired to become responsible citizens of this country that will be able to take on any challenge that is thrown to them while also being sensitive to their environment.
